Getting Started

Set up in under 60 seconds.

1

Find a Flat Surface

Choose a flat, sturdy surface for gameplay.

2

Each Player Gets

1 circular base and 5 bloinklings (coins) to start.

3

Lay Out the Pieces

Place all the wooden pieces in the centre of the players.

4

Spin to Start

Spin the egg - whoever it points to goes first!

// Core loop

On your turn: pick a piece from the middle.
Pass it - or keep it. Every move matters.

Gameplay Basics

Two options.
Every turn.

Option 01 · Most Common

Pick & Pass

Pick a piece from the middle and pass it to the next player clockwise. They must add it to their base or tower.

Option 02 · Defensive

Pick & Keep

Pick a piece and add it to your own base or tower. Play moves clockwise.

// Strategy Tips

  • Use Option 1 to challenge opponents with tricky pieces - it's the most common move.
  • Use Option 2 to stabilize your own tower when needed - the less common, defensive play.
  • Use the real estate on your base mindfully. It fills up quickly.

1

RULE_01

Passing Pieces

If you choose Option 1 and pass a piece to the next player, they can either:

  1. Place the piece on their base or tower.
  2. Pay 1 bloinkling to pass it along to the next player. This continues until someone accepts it.

// Important

If everyone pays a bloinkling and the piece comes back to you, you must place it on your own base or tower.

RULE_02

Turn Order

The next player to select a piece is always the player who last chose a piece - not who last placed one.

RULE_03

Placing Pieces

  • The only piece you may touch is the one you're placing (and your base, if necessary).
  • Once a piece touches your base or tower, you must place it.
  • You may use both hands.

// Bonus Rule

Use the piece in hand to gently nudge other pieces on your tower, if needed.

RULE_04

Bloinklings

Once you run out of bloinklings, you must play every piece you're given - so use them wisely.

RULE_05

Tower Height

  • Use the height rod to measure your tower at any time.
  • Once your tower exceeds the rod's height, you may - on one of your turns - remove one piece without touching any others and return it to the pile.
  • This can only be done once per game.
?

RULE_06

Pile Runs Out

  • If the middle pile is empty, the current player removes one piece from their own tower (without touching any others) and gives it to the next player.
  • Continue until a tower falls - fallen pieces return to the middle pile and gameplay resumes.

Game Modes

When a tower falls,
choose your mode.

OUT
Mode 01 · Shorter Game

High-Stakes Mode

  • If your tower (or a single piece) falls, you're out.
  • The next player selects a piece from the fallen tower and places it on their own.
  • Remaining fallen pieces go back to the middle pile.
Mode 02 · Longer Game

Rebuild Mode

  • If one piece falls, pay 1 bloinkling to place it back.
  • If more than one piece falls: pay 2 bloinklings, flip the timer, and rebuild before it runs out. If unsuccessful, you're out.
  • The next player takes one piece from your fallen tower - the rest return to the middle pile.

// Timer Tip

Use the timer if a player is taking too long to place a piece. If they don't finish before it runs out, they're out. Non-gameplay accidents (like bumping the table) allow for rebuilding without penalty - but take care to avoid this.
